PL-300 : Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst

In this PL-300 course, you will learn about, and apply, the various methods and best practices that are in line with business and technical requirements for ingesting, modeling, visualizing, and analyzing data.

You will also learn about the management aspects of Power BI, including workspaces and datasets, and then learn how to share, distribute, and appropriately secure Power BI assets.

This course will provide fundamental knowledge, including beginner to advanced level information and topics, on proper data analysis with Power BI. The course can be taken as a step in learning about roles in cloud data services and Microsoft Azure such as Data Engineer or Data Scientist, before taking further Microsoft Azure or Microsoft cloud services courses.

Overview

This course will cover general data ingestion and data cleansing processes as well as proper and important data model and visualization steps, touching on topics including performance, scalability, and best practices. The course will then cover the concept of pure data analysis using the tools and visuals available within Power BI.It will also cover core maintenance and administrative topics including security, asset management, and data refresh scenarios.
